Cafe Tortoni, Buenos Aires, Argentina 1858
Yes The Café Tortoni is a tourist trap but the building inside is too beautiful to pass by without peaking in or in our case sitting down and having a snack. The room is head to toe marble, the walls are covered in interesting art and there is still nightly tango to be found here. The draft beer was cold and perfect as was the toasty ham and cheese sandwich. It was like munching on a little piece of yesteryear.
