Chef’s Day Off

We love to head west to the coast on our days off. Nothing better than driving the narrow roads of western Sonoma and Marin counties with the promise of a lazy afternoon sitting by the water. One of our favorite things to do is an oyster focused picnic at Hog Island Oysters. Reserve a table that comes with ample seating, a grill, all the oysters you can shuck and a mind-boggling view of Tomales Bay. Here’s some pics of our latest adventure.

Menu
Raw Oysters on the Half Shell, Cilantro Mignonette
Grilled Oysters, Italian Parsley Garlic Butter
BBQ Oysters, Pepper Jack Cheese & Buttered Bread
Oyster Chowder
