Santa Rosa’s Wednesday Farmers Market in September-snapshots of what’s happening.

Although small in size, the market on Wednesday mornings at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Northern Santa Rosa is a great choice for excellent produce.

  Mission Figs by the basket

Heirloom tomatoes from the Patch in Sonoma, Ca

And, excellent sweet onions in all colors…
  Killer stone fruit

Romano beans from what is fast becoming one of our favorite local farms: Beet Generation Farm in Sebastopol, Ca
Shishito Peppers from Tierra Farms in Santa Rosa, Ca

Beets, turnips and berries

Melons from Beet Generation Farm in Sebastopol, Ca

And, heirloom garlic heads in boxes

Get to the market early for the best selection of stuff and coolest temps for keeping vegetables perfectly fresh. This is what it looks like as Im pulling out usually. The fog is just lifting in the background.
