FAMILY MEAL (March 10-13) – PRIX FIXE MENU
We kick off this week with a classic Cottage Pie. Early references to this dish cropped up in Irish & English culinary texts in the late 1700s – the dish was a way of using up leftover roasted meat of any kind, by hand grinding it & topping it with potato. The BLC version features ground beef, onions, celery, carrots & thyme, simmered in our slow roasted beef bone broth. Topped with buttery mashed potato & Petaluma Creamery 2-year Cheddar, order the prix fixe family meal or try our Cottage Pie a la carte.
