COTTAGE PIE
Early references to this dish cropped up in Irish & English culinary texts in the late 1700s – the dish was a way of using up leftover roasted meat of any kind, by hand grinding it & topping it with potato. The BLC version features ground beef, onions, celery, carrots & thyme, simmered in  our slow roasted beef bone broth. Topped with buttery mashed potato & Petaluma Creamery 2-year Cheddar, ready to be finished in your oven.

Winesap Apples from Rainbow Orchards, Camino, CA.
A pinch of nutmeg, cinnamon & brown sugar are all that we add to complete the filling. Wrapped up in our all-butter crust & baked to flaky perfection.
